Information we collect

You can use the Yardlet configurator without creating an account or providing your name, email address or property address.

When you purchase a DIY plan, we may collect your name, email address, order details, selected configuration and transaction information. Payment-card information is processed by our payment provider, and Yardlet does not store complete payment-card numbers.

If you request a personal consultation, we collect the information you choose to provide, which may include photographs, measurements, property details and project goals.

Our hosting and security providers may automatically process limited technical information, such as IP address, requested pages, request time, browser type and device information, to deliver and protect the website. If Yardlet introduces analytics or advertising cookies, this policy will be updated before those tools are enabled.

How we use information

We use personal information to:

• process payments and deliver purchased plans;
• match your selected configuration with the corresponding prebuilt PDF;
• send order confirmations and important service messages;
• respond to support requests and consultation inquiries;
• prevent misuse, maintain security and troubleshoot technical problems;
• meet accounting, tax and legal obligations; and
• send promotional emails only when you have opted in.

Service providers

We may share information with service providers that operate Yardlet, including payment processing, website hosting and email-delivery providers. They may process information only for the services they provide to us. We do not sell personal information.

Retention

We retain order and transaction records for as long as required for accounting, tax, fraud-prevention and legal purposes. Support and consultation information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary to provide the requested service and resolve related issues.

International processing

Some service providers may process information outside Canada. Information processed in another country may be subject to that country’s laws.

Your choices and rights

You may request access to or correction of your personal information. You may also request deletion where Yardlet is not required to retain the information for legal, accounting or legitimate business purposes. Marketing consent can be withdrawn at any time using the unsubscribe link in an email.
