Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern Yardlet’s website, DIY planning tools, AI Visualizer, downloadable plans and related services. By using Yardlet, you agree to these terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information, and our Refund Policy explains purchase remedies.

DIY planning tools

Our configurator provides illustrative outdoor-space previews. A Design Builder purchase delivers the prebuilt PDF matched to your selections; a Constructor purchase delivers a PDF based on your configuration. These tools do not inspect your property or provide a site-specific professional assessment.

AI Visualizer and its limits

The AI Visualizer uses your uploaded photo and pinned instructions to generate outdoor-space concepts, refinements, material and plant suggestions, approximate material costs and practical steps. Images and project guidance are AI-generated and may be inaccurate, incomplete or impractical. Pins guide the result; they do not guarantee exact placement or preservation of other parts of the photo.

AI output is for inspiration and preliminary planning. It is not a survey, construction drawing, engineering assessment, supplier quote or professional landscape advice. A photo cannot establish dimensions, property boundaries, buried utilities, drainage, structural safety or plant suitability. Verify these matters with measurements, suppliers and qualified local professionals before buying materials, digging or building.

Material-cost ranges use the area shown in the project, initially an assumed 100 square feet unless you update it. Updating an area changes the budgeting scenario; it does not measure the photo. Ranges exclude labour, tools, disposal, delivery, taxes and structural work. Fixed items may not scale with area, and local prices and quantities may differ.

Accounts and generation credits

AI generation requires email sign-in. Keep access to your email secure and do not share sign-in codes. One free generation is available per account; creating repeat accounts to obtain additional free allowances, bypassing limits or disrupting the service is not allowed.

Each CA$9.99 pack adds 20 total generations or refinements to the purchasing account. This is a one-time purchase, not a subscription or daily allowance, and there is no shared daily generation cap. Each new concept or refinement uses one credit. Viewing saved designs and exporting them do not use generation credits. When your balance reaches zero, you can buy another pack. Credits cannot be transferred to another account or redeemed for cash, except where required by law.

A credit is reserved when a generation starts. If the provider definitively rejects the request, the credit is returned. If a request times out with an unknown outcome, it is held for review to avoid charging or generating twice. Contact support if a request remains unresolved. We do not promise a particular result or completion time.

Your photos, instructions and outputs

Upload only content you own or have permission to use and process through our service providers. Avoid photos containing people, licence plates, house numbers or other identifying details, and do not include sensitive personal information in instructions. Do not upload unlawful content or content that infringes another person’s privacy or rights.

You retain your rights in your uploads. You give Yardlet permission to store and process them, and to send the content needed to our service providers, to generate, analyse, save and deliver your designs. This permission does not allow us to use your private photos in marketing without separate permission.

You may download and use generated concepts for your projects, subject to these terms and applicable law. AI outputs may resemble other outputs, and we do not guarantee that they are unique, eligible for copyright protection or free of third-party rights.

Purchases and delivery

Prices, currency and any applicable taxes are shown at checkout. Stripe processes payments and sends a paid invoice and receipt links after a successful purchase. Yardlet does not store full card numbers. AI credits are added to your signed-in account after payment is verified; DIY plans are delivered by download and email. AI packs and DIY plans are separate products.

For missing credits, inaccessible files or technical problems, contact support.yardlet@gmail.com with your checkout email. Remedies are described in our Refund Policy. Nothing in these terms removes consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Availability and responsible use

The service may be interrupted for maintenance, provider outages or security reasons. We may restrict abusive or unlawful use. You remain responsible for checking local codes, permits, utility-locate requirements, site conditions and the suitability of any suggested work.

Limitations and your legal rights

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Yardlet provides previews, AI outputs and planning guidance “as is”, without a guarantee of accuracy, suitability or uninterrupted availability. To that same extent, our liability relating to a paid product is limited to the amount paid for that product. These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law and do not exclude mandatory consumer rights or remedies.

Changes and contact
